It's show time...hoods up..

Hey guys and gals..just thought I would pass this on as show season is starting up in my area and everyone gets worried when the hoods are up on a windy day. On the C-2 SB and C-3's there is a hole in the hood prop that lines up perfectly when in the open position. The bolt that comes on a toilet seat(!) that has the nylon bolts on each end works perfect(exact size of hole) to hold the hood from accidently getting blown shut. Looks like a factory type item too!! I have had many people at shows come up and asked where I found it as it was just what they were looking for!!! Sorry ladies..if you find your toilet seat missing or sliding off onto the floor, it was for a good cause!. Don't think this will get any extra points at a NCRS meet though!!

Any 1/4" bolt will do, or I use a 1/4" spring-lock hitch pin clip "with a message" (the little banner is from the Sporty's catalog).

Like the tag...I have the big one off a FA18, but will have to try tolocat a small one like that. Is it "shorty's" or another name? Thanks

LIC sells a small plastic one which is in the shape of a mid-year coupe.
