Did ZR2 package for 71 include air hood?

I am very interested in finding out if the air hood was ever used on the LS6. A friend says they were dealer options. I don't think so but any help would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.

I know of no 71 ZR2 equipped cars with RPO ZL2 (cold air induction) hoods (from St Louis).

Regardless of whether you're talking about the 1968-69 L-88/ZL-1 hood or whether you're talking about some other sort of "air induction" hood (e.g. like the 73-75 system) , the answer is never, ever.

Thanks guys. It didn't make sense to me either. The 71 454 had the lower intake and it seemed hard to believe that an "air" hood would be on the car; even as a dealer option. Thanks, as always.

No, Not In 71
