78 Pace Car Luggage???

In talking with a fellow today he mentioned that there was luggage made for the 78 Pace cars.. I would love to lay my hands on some of that!! Anyone know of any ??(already tried ebay),, and some pics if anyones got some ,, thanks doug

Doug, They made pretty much everything with the PC on it. Fancy space age looking jackets etc. Have even seen Pillows and sheets. I have seen luggage go across eBay in the past. I can not remember, but I think it was 25th Anniversary not necessarily PC... Not sure though. Ask Roy, I bet he owned/owns some!!! Eric

thanks,, and yes about the jackets, i have one of those which the patch says 25th anniv.... slick shiny silvery looking, got it behind glass,, but never heard of luggage, thanks for the input,, doug

It was silver leatherette looking rectangular shaped. Real classy 70's stuff. Eric

He does.

He doesn't like the new format, so he's not on the DB anymore.
But, he posted pics of it on the old DB.

I'm well aware of the factory supplied luggage for the Mercedes-Benz 300SL (coupe and roadster) and for the Porsche 356/911/912, but have never heard of same for the Corvette. I'm very interested in seeing how this thread develops and what pictures may be provided.

Check the Corvette fourm for that thread. A guy had a whole set with the tags still on that he bought from the GM dealer. I tried to buy but he declined my low ball offer. I htink it was late last year or early this. It's a 5 or 6 piece set all silver.

Came with my 78 like ever accessory i could buy, best offer ever got was $100.00 , I'll just keep using them or throw them out later. No one wonts accessories here or dont belieave it.Yes have little to do do with posting much any more,mostly C2 up questions
