Any idea where I might find the lever that attaches to the transmission from the linkage for 1st / reverse?

You asked about an item that's one of those parts that you don't want to need. The rod was GM #3888267 and it's applicable only to 1966-67 Corvettes with 3 speed manual trans; NO other applications that I can find. It was discontinued from SERVICE without supercession in October, 1969. I know of no reproduction that's available for the 66-67 3 speed linkage, either individually or as a set.

You might try contacting these 5 sources:

2) Paragon Vintage in Swartz Creek, MI

3) Contemporary Corvette, Bristol, PA

4) America's Finest Corvettes in Ramona, CA

5) JT Piper's Corvette Specialties in Vermillion, IL

If none of the above have it, you're in deep trouble if you really need it.

Thanks for the leads so far. Vetteproducts did repop these. I may have located a linkage setup, but feel free to keep giving me leads.
