Outer door glass seals for a 69

Who makes the most authentic outer door glass seals for a 69?

I bought some that I thought were correct but this is what they look like compared to my originals.

As you can see they are not really close at all so any advice here would be great.

    Thanks.

    Greg,
The seals on my 71 look like the 1 toward the left in your 1st and 2nd pictures, except that mine have a TINY lip on the edge of the rubber strip where it sweeps the door glass. This lip has almost always been worn or torn off on originals I see.
I have found no reproductions (even the supposedly correct one from new tooling) that are close enough for me to consider using them. They seem to be more suitable for later 70's cars.
I've had my hands on 2 NOS sets that made my heart pound, but, BOTH turned out to be the shorter version for a convertible not usable for a coupe.
Along with fuel return line clamps and original seat shim bags these weather seal strips are always on my list of dream finds. Oh, and also uncut keys with the knockouts in them.
    Regards,
    Alan

Thanks Alan, Are the ones that you refer to from Corvette Central?

I tried to so do a search(archives are missing some titles so I don't know if it's fully updated yet) and I got a hit from back in 04 mentioning them so I looked on their site and I see that they look a lot closer to my originals than what I now have.

Are these the closest that's out there?

Yes, the ones from Corvette Central are FAR closer that what you've got.
I also have a set of each for my 71. The crappy ones never even were installed. The only modification I had to do to the CC ones is move a clip or two a tiny bit for a perfect fit.

Return these, and buy the Corvette Central ones.

I have a set for my '69 that I got from Paragon that look very close to the ones in the left of your pictures. I haven't taken my originals off so I'm not sure how close they are to mine...

            Greg,
I've not seen any strip that I'd use in place of my originals. I believe I was looking at the new CC strips and they weren't close to what I have on my 71. I do think that Patrick has a discriminating 'eye', so perhaps there's a new strip out there that I haven't seen.
I've been looking at Carlisle, Bloomington and Knoxville for about 5 years for cars that appear to have original strips. What I've found is that if the strip is tight against the door glass, the lip I mentioned has been worn off, but if the strip is not tight against the glass, the lip is there but too much water has been getting past the seal and the metal reinforcement in the strip has rusted. I have 4 pairs of used strips... some with perfect rubber and some with perfect metal...I'm trying to learn the proper magic needed to make 1 good pair.
Of course now I'm curious if CC has had them and I didn't realize it.
            Regards,
            Alan

              Probably.
I obtained one of the first sets and installed them just after wrist surgery in August of 1999 (I was still in a post-surgical splint and not back to work, that's why I remember). So, they've been in production for a while.
