I have a headlight that is not flush with the body on the passenger side of my 71. Is there a way to adjust the headlight assembly so that it would come up flush with the body?

Re: C-3 light adjustment
Their is a bolt with a small hex on the threaded end that will make that adjustment. It is small like 7/32 and the other end is about a 9/16 hex. If the bolt is not frozen the adjustment will be easy.Lyle

Re: C-3 light adjustment
Just a word of warning, be very careful when they open. When you adjust that bolt, it may cause the rear of the headlight door to bump into the nicely painted surface behind the headlight opening. The rear of the door can be adjusted by loosing the three bolts that hold the bearings in and moving the door up slightly in the rear. If there is not enough play to get the rear in the right position, the bearings will have to be replaced.- Top

Re: C-3 light adjustment
You are correct, it doesn't change the position of the bearings, it changes the position OF THE DOOR. The door swings on an axis provided by the bearings. All I said was to be careful when adjusting the door, it could allow the rear of the door hit the body.- Top
