    '72 Thermal Limiter Connector Missing

First, thanks to all the members who have helped me with my prior inquiries-had I known how beneficial this forum was going to be, I would have joined a long time ago. During my never ending quest to restore my '72, I discovered that the three-lead connector that held the thermal limiter was missing. Apparently one of the previous owners decided to remove it and hardwire it to the thermal limiter with electrical tape. This is the one that has the small metal clip attached to it. Any suggestions as to where I can get one? Thanks again.

    Hi Stan,
I'm not sure what part you're referring to. Please add some more description and perhaps myself or someone else can help.
    Regards,

Fairly common part in the GM line, see if you can find any boneyards with an early 70's GM product to be a donor.

I'd bet that Lectric Limited would have it.

I believe he is referring to the circuit-breaker like device used in the A/C compressor circuit. These were used on almost all GM vehicles in the '70's and were the first item to check if your compressor would not cycle. A little luck at the junkyard should provide the socket pigtail.
