    Thanks!

I think that if you will check the archives, most recommend Al Knoch

Auto Custom Carpet is a primary supplier of carpet to vendors as well.

No denying the quality of Al Knock carpets but as for myself have used ACC in the past with good results...........have just ordered and received new carpet from them (ACC) for my '66 roadster.

Michael et. al. I have also used ACC for years, but most of the restorers that I know say the quality has slipped. But then what do I know?

Chuck.....be quite! Someone might get the idea that I need more work to do. I am trying to get out of working in the shop. I have two projects that I bought in 1992 and have not even touched them ('46 IHC road tractor and '50 Federal road tractor) I ain't gittin' any younger and it seems that these two trucks are not self restorer's. Before I go to the great restoration shop in the sky I would like to finish them

Between the auctioneer, appraisal, and real estate business, I do not have any extra time to work on anyone else's car

Romeo Engineering USED to have the rep for making the most accurate 69 repro carpet with the correct logo on the heel pad, etc., BUT..................

Dealing with Romeo Engineering is trying at best, so if you order from them, be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait some more.

Their claim on the logo was total &*&^. Their logo was so prominent that you could see it without your glasses. If the logo on the heal pad was on an original set, you almost had to get a magnifying glass to see it. The interior judges DEDUCT for the Romeo logo's.

                    Hi Dick
Well I was going to buy and wait for a set of Romeo's carpets with the "Logo" for my 68 But now you say they will deduct. So does anybody know which vendor has the most correct heal pad with the correct logo? Thanks, Grant

Grant, unfortunately no one. Go with a vendor that will ship your carpet in a timely manner. Do a search on Romeo. Not a very good shipping record.

                        Hi Grant.

Looks like you get a deduct for no logo, or a too big logo.

                        Pick your poison.

I have the Romeo carpet in my 69, but I recall waiting and waiting for it.

As Dick said, they have a LONG history of backorders.
