GM #5948772 is the correct part number for the tail light lens for 1959 Corvettes. In fact, it's not only the correct part number, it's the part number used in PRODUCTION for 1959 (and, 1958 and 1960, as well). Will it pass judging? I don't know, but I assume so. However, I suppose it may depend upon just when the pieces you have were actually manufactured. Sometimes, there are slight "nuances" which change over the many years of the manufacture of part.
