    72 aluminum valve cover emblem

How does the cross flag emblem attach to the valve cover on the LT1 aluminum valve covers. Is the emblem a stick on, glued on, what?

When I purchased some from the dealer in the '70's they were a peel-off type sticker. I don't know about the reproductions.

      Ed and Dave------

The originals were definitely of the pressure sensitive adhesive type. Whatever pressure sensitive adhesive was used, it was PERMANENT.

The emblem is still available from GM under GM #3946860. Not bad considering the last time this emblem was used in PRODUCTION was nearly 26 years ago. About 8 bucks, GM list.
