I am replacing my plug wires on my 64 327/365. Do the 1&3 wires run through the motor mount split 1 in each opening or do both run in one opening. They are both in one opening thru the munt now. I can't tell from my shop manual how they s/b routed. I am not even sure if they are supposed to be thru the mounts.

Re: 327 sparkplug wires
there are 2 rectangular openings looking down at the mounts. Does each wire go in there own opening or do both go in one opening. Both wires were in the back opening. Again my shop manual does not show this detail and I am tweaking the car for flight judging.- Top

Re: 327 sparkplug wires
I don't know what you mean by "2 rectangular openings". There is just one "cavity" between the block and the motor mounts. It might APPEAR like two since there is usually a "hump" on the back of the mounts which might make it look like two openings, but there's just one there. Obviously, the forwardmost plug wire (1 or 2) goes toward the forward end of the opening and the rearmost plug wire (3 or 4) goes toward the rear of the opening. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 327 sparkplug wires
Thanks, that's what I figured. If you look down along side of the motor you will see the openings in the side of the motor mount. There are clearly 2 separate rectangular openings where the wires fish through.
Thanks for the feed back.- Top
