Don't want to invade his privacy but he posted a quick message on CF in C3 section Update on Lars and I just wanted to share his situation so your prayers and best wishes will be with him.

I don't personally know him, but from what I've read he is very instrumental with Carb and Dizzy setup's and is a Corvette lover.

My prayers are with you Lars. Be thinking of you. Speedy recovery.

Lars is very well known over on the Corvette Forum. Very knowledgeable on any carb, timing, distributor oriented repairs. Very willing to answer questions. Good guy. Going in for an operation this AM for some type of a spinal problem that has caused some partial paralysis to his right arm. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.
