1961 disassembled in 1962 (pics)

This report has been posted before, however I was surprised that few in our chapter had seen it. This document shows a 1961 corvette that was dissassembled in 1962. In particular, the pictures of the frame do a good job of showing the blackout and the gloss (aslphalt paint) on the frame of a later C1.

Interesting front brake pads.
Should finned drums be present with the segmented pads?

Thanks--seen this before, but a great reminder.
Bruce--it's an RPO686 brake car--metallic shoes, regular drums. You can see that also by the oversized diameter brake return springs.
An early car--unpainted radiator, cast iron T-10, trunk plates running fore/aft

Also, and interesting combo--base motor and no posi, with metallic brakes
