    64 Fuel Overflow Hose Tie

According to the Judging Guide a black tie is to be used on the fuel overflow hose to secure it to the bumper brace but it would seem to reason to use a white tie since all the other ties used throughtout the car are white. Why the change in color or is a white tie acceptable as well. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Craig

Hi Craig, seem to remember my old 64 ac car had the light strap holding the hose back in 80. Looked up the straps in 64 AIM and the engine compartment wire harness and the rear drain hose have the same pn 2328616, which I assume is the 'light' colored tie. PS also like 64's!!!!!

Drove the 64 over 5000 miles to three Regionals and the San Jose National, one dust storm and 40 lbs of bugs!
