67 Seat Bottom Foam - Markings???

Been working on cleaning up my seats this winter. They appear to be pretty old and "original" in make-up. One thing I found is that my seat bottom foam is marked in black marker "67 Bottom". Both seat along the left-hand side towards the seat back. Consistently sloppy marking. Is that something seen in original seat foam bottoms? John Z??

I can't speak for 67, but the original 65 seat foam I have does not have any hand written markings. It has an ink stamp "Hoover Foam" and then date stamped April 10, 1965. Both uppers and lowers have the same markings.

Yea, I'm kinda thinking maybe mine is an older (early 70's) replacement. Just not sure. I didn't take the seat bottom apart so all I can see is the writing. Thanks.

Cushions are all in-bossed with part number, top pic. is C2's and bottom pic. is C1's
