Can someone tell me where I can find a fabric similar to what's used on the door lock rods on mid year doors. Thanks very much, Tim

The repo parts vendors sell something similar for the door rods. I used it but the material is thinner than original. Check with LI.

What is wrong with using a black shoe lace cut to the right length?

I got mine from Long Island. Better to use their online ordering than call.
