    Afordable Paperwork Rescources

This seems to be the toughest nut to crack when it comes to restoration. I know that there are dealers at shows, but when the shows are not within 500 miles it puts one at a disadvantage! Could some one suggest contacts for 1976 paperwork? Specifically the trim ring and alarm paperwork.

    Thanks in advance!

I wasn't aware that there was separate paperwork for those two items. Can you elaborate?

Yes there are seperate instruction sheets for rims (alum and trim rings, alarm...) in 1976. The judging guide is wrong with its guidance in paper work for the 1976 specifically. Some people really try to ream you when you need something, but all in all afordable items can be found. Are you looking for something in particular?

I was able to find several of the same type items from Corvette America for my 68. They're reproductions/copies so I'm not sure how they compare to the originals. Prices averaged about $6.00 an item.

You're correct...there is a lot of paperwork. I did this for my 78 and lots of single sheets. I developed a table for the C3 years but 76 has lots of blanks...like the Catalytic Converter Information Card. It came in 78 but I'm not sure in 76? Maybe I can figure out how to post the table if it would be helpful.

My suggestion is to use the listing in the Driveline in the back sections under misc services. These are the same people you'll see at swap meets.
