1960 - dim blinker bulbs

Are there any aftermarket solutions to make these things a little brighter, or has anyone come up with some other fix? Most of the time I can't tell if the blinker is on or off!

Check the condition of the blinker bulb "green" filters in the speedometer. If they are old and faded. that may be your problem, not the bulb.

Since I'm experiencing the same situation with my '61, I wonder if these green filters are accessible without pulling the speedo housing?

it takes both removal and disassembly of the speedo to change the green piece.
