Design for lap belt latch for 71 convertible?

For a 71 convertibe without the shoulder belt option, is the design of the male lap belt latch the same as a car with shoulder belts (i.e. coupe and convertible with A85 option)?
Or does a convertible without shoulder belts have a latch which does not contain the post for the shoulder belt latch to slide over?

The D-ring end was the same for all 71's. It had the post on convertibles without the shoulder belt option.

Would you know what these belts are for? These were supposedly removed from a 71 convertible, but are clearly not originally from it. The latch piece is much shorter and does not have the post (as discussed). The only marking on the latch pieces is C 153. They have belt webbing with 4 bars and no labels. Any idea if these are possibly older corvette or just some random belts? I got them for a friend's 71 convertible, so since they are definitely not correct, would like to find an appropriate new home for them if they are useful.

The book I have on Corvette seat belts has no information on a D-ring that looks like the one you posted.
