75 Convertible Deck Lid Weatherstrip Fit?

    75 Convertible Deck Lid Weatherstrip Fit?

    I am confused as to how the convertible deck lid weatherstrip fits at the left & right front outer edges. The weatherstrip has the little hockey stick style end on it and it seems that it would cause a very unusual interference with the little weatherstrips mounted on the body side. It just doesnt seem to be compatible. Any comments or pictures would be welcome.
