72 Consumer Info Book

Did Corvettes get their own Consumer Info Book (in the owner's manual envelope) or did they share with another chevy model like the Camaro or Impala?

Steve, I can't answer specifically for 72, but in 70 the Corvette Consumer Information pamphlet was Corvette specific, and so indicates on the front cover. Since this pamphlet includes service brake, emergency service brake, and power brake unit failure stopping distances, as well as low speed and high speed passing distances, my belief is the CI pamphlets would HAVE to be model specific for ANY model year.

Corvette Consumer Information Booklets were specific to Corvette and their respective model years so each yoer had their own. I'm not sure exactly which year the white booklet started (either 68 or 69) but they were issued through the late 70's or early 80's.

72 definitely had its own--I have one in an original 72 owner's packet I have. And it does specifically say "Corvette" on it.
