Sunday drive

While sitting watching "My Classic Car" this morning, Dennis was visiting with Jay Leno. Leno mentioned that his parents would just up and take a Sunday drive while few do it these days.

I looked over at my bride and said lets go for a ride. We started up the old Vette we took on our honeymoon 36 years ago and just went for a few hour drive. I tried some some of the moves on her I tried so many years ago when we were kids like shifting into 4th then putting my hand on her thigh. Didn't work then and didn't work now but we had a great time going back.

Fortunately Central Florida is great this time of year.

Life is good, enjoy it.

I got home to Colorado Springs from a week-long business trip to Wash DC Saturday afternoon. It was 72 degrees and lots of sunshine, but woke up Sunday morning to a snowstorm! Gotta love springtime in the Rockies. Guess I'll have to wait a few days to go fro a drive.

I watched that show too, Jay seems like a heck of a cool guy.

I wish it was nice enough in PA right now to go on a Sunday drive!

Glad the two of you could enjoy the ride. Hope you had the top down. Here in WI we have record snow on the ground and mounds you can't see over. Don't feel bad about the thigh move rejection. Never worked for me either.

Another midwesterner here just waiting for spring to come. I really enjoy going out on Sunday mornings. Starting the vette up, just enough to wake the neighbors from their sleep, but soon I am off on the open roads and they are back to sleep. Can't do the thigh thing because like my neighbors, the wife enjoys her sleep too.

Two more months to go.

We always take a car out for a drive on the weekend. We have just the right number of seats!
