Motor City Regional Update
Hello Everyone,
I've waited until the new board went live to post my next update. There are a few items:
- If you are planning on attending our meet, having a car judged and then plan to attend the banquet, please send in your registration ASAP. We are almost out of seats at the banquet.
- To remind everyone, the meet is indoors at the Rock Financial Center, in Hall C. The only Corvettes that will be outdoors are the Sportsman cars and the "I happened to drive my Corvette to the Regional" cars; Founders cars will likely be inside. Sportsman and "Corvette driver" parking will be outside in the lot to the side of our hall, which is a nice location. It is not feasible to have Sportsman and all other Corvette parking inside the hall. That means that Flight Judging as well as Duntov/McLellan/Bowtie/Crossed Flags/Am Heritage/etc displays will all be inside.
- At present we have over 120 people signed up for the Wine and Cheese party at the Lingenfelter Collection of cars. This should be an event to remember.
- We have 51 Corvettes registered to tour the Milford Proving Grounds on Sunday, May 18th. If you are bringing a Corvette to our Regional and can afford the time to stay until noon or so on Sunday, I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to visit Milford.
