Is this upside down?

Should the front sway bar ends on a 1970 turn up or down? In my disassembly photos it looks like its pointing down, but it doesn't look right on the car. The AIM is not helpful. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The bar on my 66 is the other way. The ends bend up, not down. I thought all C3's were the same way too.

Great to see you back.
I think you are correct. In fact the old assembly line picture that you post of the front sway bar a couple of weeks ago shows the offset down.
