I'm disappointed that he doesn't have any 54 air! That must be worth $199.99!

Rick - Unfortunately, zip loc bags are not an acceptable way to store gas sample so any buyer will be greatly disappointed in the integrity of the samples. For $99 I would have expected the seller to have used better sample collection containers. Pete

Long ago, just after sea creatures developed lungs and crawled out onto dry land, there was a thread here about just such shenanigans. I remember that one of our more famous (or infamous depending on your personal preference) members was the primary contributor to that thread...But, of course, this ebay listing can't be his work.

Peter, he apparently didn't have any nuclear waste containers at his finfertips.

Is the air date coded? If so, is there a plan to begin authenticating it?
                    Regards,
                    Alan

I'm guessing there might be a zip loc bag of NOS BS to authenticate the NOS air. Pete

Ok I'll admit it was me who was the wiseguy back at Christmas time. I should've patented the idea. I must admit it was alot of fun. You gotta read all 29 Q&A's from pg 2 up. Had some interesting participants. The bidding went to $2000 after a few days with about 1300 hits on the 2 auctions(one was nos 63 air for the c2 guys). I ended the auction early when I dropped a sledge hammer on the storage tank and let it all out.....Rich ps don't tell the judges it was me.

.....I have nothing to do with this recent listing. I would imagine he's a bored soul in the snowdrifted north.:-)

Sorry, Rich, I missed that one...so I guess you're not famous (or infamous), but you do get high marks for sense of humor. LOL

I was fondly remembering another character that blessed us with his presence for a little while.
