2 55's on e-bay using NCRS

In Ohio there are two 55's for sale on e-bay starting at 100K and were just restored by some shop. This one is said to be original copper 1 of 15 WOW. Verified by some NCRS members??? That color is so fare off it's crazy ! There are so many thing wrong looking at it , it's hard to know where to start .
Just thought it interesting how some one uses NCRS so freely to sell corvettes.
Even the other 55 they have for 100K is questionable.

I thought 3-speeds came out much later than SN 1285.

It is interesting in that the Copper SN #285 is in the C1 Registry. Check out the unrestored picture and description. SN #100 is not in the registry however.

I saw them this morning. The copper color does look too dark. I wonder if they color matched it from the original color? Is the vin close to yours, Roy??

No way they matched it from what they said it had some original copper color to go by.
The color is so fare off it's ridiculous, I think they thought it would sound like a rarer 55 if painted copper and they just guess at what a copper color looked like!

I have plenty of pics of 1955 #100 in it's current unrestored condition. It was bout last month by a fellow in WI. It's also Gypsy Red. We may have a problem here!!!!!!!

The Corvette Forum post is from February 8, 2008. Was #100 recently on Craigslist in the LA area as an unrestored car? I don't know.
