c1 oil splash shield

On a 1959 aluminum dual quad manifold, how is the oil splash shield attached? Rivets,bolts(thread size?), or screws?

rivets. i'd drill, tap and use machine screws to re-attach it. good luck,mike

I totally agree. That's what I use for any of these manifold oil shields. And, I use Locktite 242 on the screws.
