Part #'s needed for both 68 and 69 Front Shocks

    Hi all,

Could someone please provide the manufacture and correct part numbers for both the 1968 and 69 Corvette front shocks? Also how is the date codes depicted? Julian or month/year? Pictures are always appreciated.

    Thanks as always,

    Craig Willetts

    Craig------

Fronts were GM #3192868 and were of Delco manufacture for both years. With F-41 the part number was GM #3171488. The standard shocks usually have julian dating.

Craig, here's some pics of the shocks going back on my 46,000 mile, barn-find 1967. Thought these might help you see how original dates look. The wide shot will show you original stickers also. Hope these help somewhat, Ridge.
