Bet'cha most have never seen these, stamped on the alternator rotor.
Front case is from a July 7th 1965 assembled 42 amp 1100696 (most transistor ign. applications)
Rotor stamping G65 - 695 is (I assume) July, 1965 - last 3 digits of rotor part # 1964695.
However, I've checked other rotors in my collection, and no others have the date thing; some have just the last 3 digits of part #, others have the entire part #.
