    63 A/C battery access

Can anyone post a picture of a 63 A/C car with the batery access panel removed? I'm trying to get a better idea of a particular car...
    thanks!

It's not too clear there either. is this a hard fiberglass cover or a soft rubber thing? does it seal the battery into the fender, or just a shield?

Jim - The battery Access Panel is a "hard" fiberglass piece that fits (bolts in place) into the rear of the front fender. It's just a "shield" or piece to complete the inner fender. Without it in place, all the road debris kicked up by the tire would be in the engine compartment. Pete
