Does the chevrolet passenger car and the corvette share the same horn,except for the bracket? On my 54 the horn #'s are 681 and 682. The JM says that the correct horns are 687 and 688. I have called several salvage yards that have 54 chevy parts,lots of horns, but no luck.

You can modify the brackets easily. The hole spacing is 1.5 in for passenger car brackets. 2.0 in for corvette. They can be lengthened to the proper dimension by a competent fabricator. I would not pay big $$ for corvette only brackets. If you can find them cheap...yes. If not, you can modify them rather inexpensively.Comment
