    1972 LT1 - battery

Where can I find an acceptable replacement battery that will be acceptable for NCRS judging? Any comment on the supply vendor "Antique Auto Battery"

How much you wnt to spend?

Best points per dollar = current ACDelco.
Worst points per dollar = any non-ACDelco
A close second = repro battery.

25 points for originality, 15 for condition.
I see it as 5/15, 0/0 and 20-25/15 points gains for each.

I "think" only one source makes the repros of our size. I'll admit - I do have one but only because I got a great deal on it.

I would like to have a good repro battery. One that NCRS accepts with only a nominal deduction for orginality. What is the source that you are referring too? I need the R 89W high output battery. Option T60.

        Thanks again.

I think that they all come from the same factory, whether you buy from Restoration Battery or whomever. Antique Auto Battery is the "maker" of these to the best of my knowledge.

Occasionally genuine NOS ones show up on Ebay if you are patient.
