Today I went to my local Chevy dealer to purchase 4 lower control arm bushing retainers (big, concave washers). First the counter guy says I have to buy a package of 5. Of course you only need 4 for the car so you have to pay for 1 extra. Then, with a straight face, he says they are $12.85 each! I said "You mean for the package of 5, right?". Then without a hint of apology in his voice he informs me that this is each and the package will cost me $64 and change plus tax! For large washers. Good grief!!!
