    1969 tri power

I'm looking at a 1969 that is in bad shape. What do I look for to to determine if the front clip is a one piece replacement. Rick

a cheap one piece front one has no bonding strips a good quality one does also look for grinder marks near the bonding adhesive near the cowl mounting points this will tell you that it has been at least re bonded also the color of the adhesive should be looked at should be dark grey to charcoalin color after market adhesive could have a blue green oc red tint caused by the paste hardner .... hope this helps
