Did you know that if you paint your engine down the cellar with the clothes dryer running, and you open a window for ventilation across the room, so that the dryer, engine, and window are in a straight line, and you're drying white towels, that the white towels will come out of the dryer with just the slightest tinge of orange to them. Just the slightest tinge of NCRS approved Quanta engine orange.

That's the kind of stuff that happens to me. Better engine paint on the towels than towel fuzz on the engine !!!

This is one of those cases where honesty IS NOT the best policy. Tell her it's a form of iron in the water due an operational upset at the treatment plant...the iron turns to an orange oxide when heated.

DYK, if you live in an centrally air condtioned dorm that houses some jocks and the jocks like to occasionally go out to a local watering hole and mix it up with Navy guys from the local NAS, that when the disgruntled NAS guys come to the dorm in the middle of the night and throw a red smoke marker w/pin removed in the hallway, everything in the dorm picks up a pint tint...red dust on you and the furniture, you spit up the stuff for days, all white clothes in your cabinet and closet are pink, etc, etc.? Don't ask how I know.
