Hello. I have been trying, with no success, to find an origional set of bolt on wheels to complete my 1967 coupe. I am considering purchasing a set of the current reproduction wheels from Americas Finest Corvettes. Can anyone supply me with current feedback on these wheels, and has the origional problem with the starburst mounts been corrected? Also at a recent car show I saw a white 1966 with a set of blue stripe tires. Were these tires ever offered as an option on any corvette? They sure looked good on this car. I have a set of original bolt -on Kelseys on my `67 that I paid dearly for. I was interested this past year at Carlisle to compare this new repro to an original. The repros are the best I`ve seen so far. The differences I noted where mostly on the back of the wheel. The reinforcing ribs were not raised or pronounced enough on the repro. There were some other slight stamping differences. On the front of the wheel, the shade of the gray paint was wrong compared to the NOS display wheel that was featured beside the repro. On the center caps the clips were the typical reproduction that seem to come loose. Watch ebay, they come up for sale pretty regularly.Comment

These are the best repops out there from a reputable dealer they have been working on getting them right and I hear it's about perfect.
