      Re: Addendum

Regarding the 481 vs 461 - I decided to look at the ones that I have lying around. I have a pair that I am pretty sure came from a 69 350-300 car and a pair that almost definitely came from a 72-later car (since both right and left are identical). I really can not notice any difference in the stamping of the "6"/"8" between any of them. This may lend some further support to those who previously posted indicating that there may not have truly been a 3932481.

I do not believe that the 461 would be correct for a '68. Have never seen one on an original car

Yes, I would say without a doubt that the GM #3872765 is the only manifold used for the left side of all 68-69 Corvette small blocks. For 1968, it looks like the 3872778 was used at least for early 1968's for the right side. The GM #3932461 was used for the right side of 1969's and, possibly, some later 1968 right side.

Some examples of the 3932461 were manufactured without drilled and tapped AIR fittings; no doubt about that. These were used for some 1970+ applications without AIR.
