Two-Part Primer vs Duplicolor Rattle Can

    Hi all,

I am ready to paint from the top of one front fender around to the other, including the top of the front. Testing my two-part primer shows that it might be ready to be replaced.

In the interest of time, Duplicolor seems to have good reviews. But, in the interest of the best result, I don't know for sure if I might should wait on getting more two-part primer.

Has anyone had good results with using a spray can and then applying two-part urethane paint?

    Thanks,

    Bob

I paint corvettes and wouldn't put a non catalyzed product under a catalyzed product.

Agree with James. I would buy and spray a good grade Epoxie primer, and then spray the color within the 1-5 day "grace period" (primer type dependent).

And from experience, the reason is because sheets of your beautiful catalyzed paint will fall off the non-catalyzed primer.
