I found this car under the seat of a 1971 LS6

This car was delivered to GM Engineering in Warren, MI in 1971. It was in a pole barn in NW Ohio from 1985-ish to 2022. M22, dual disc convertible. The card might evoke memories from some long-timers here.

Hi Mike! Hope all is well. I know nothing about the car unfortunately but while living in Fort Wayne (near Concordia) in early 80's I made a trip to Terry's place in Napoleon and picked up one of these cards. Looking around for spare parts for my '57 Terry took a list of parts and a couple of cars I was looking for. I recall behind a storage building were some parts cars surrounded by a tall fence and a "junk yard dog" for security. Steve

The back of the card is a Buy offer. It reads:
      till Nov 5th 5500
      nov 6 - Jan -Feb 1985 5000
      March- April 85 - 6000-6500

In the early-mid 70’s it was my go to place.

This may be off topic and if so I apologize.

Terry Michaelis got into some sort of legal trouble way back - I seem to recall it was at the federal level - but I can't locate any info on this or the outcome. Did I imagine it?

            No.

There is an article in a very old Driveline that tells the tale.

Dan, do you recall what the $2.95 in the upper right corner referred to? Did you live near Napoleon?
              Thanks, Steve

Steve, $2.95 was the cost of the Catalog.
It was free with a purchase .
I lived in Virginia but grew up in Toledo area. When I’d go to visit family , I’d stop at the Corvette Store to buy parts, still stop in at ProTeam when I visit family in Ohio.

                    That didn’t last long.

                      Have I forgotten any?

When I traced the history of my 62 Gulf Oil racer, it went through them. I actually talked to Linda about it. I asked about a 62 that was red, but hood and trunk were stripped of paint. She said “I remember that car—the old drag race car with tie-downs”. Well, it was a racer with tie-downs, but the races were longer than 1/4 mile.
