is there any interchange for the GM A77C FI air filter other than K&N E-1935

I saw some other posts about this but never a solid answer: Is there any interchange for the GM A77C FI air filter other than K&N E-1935? It's well known the only currently available air filter is the K&N, but what about vintage air filters? I decided to hunt around and looked in eBay posts for FRAM, Purolator and Wix catalogs from the 60s and 70s. I found corvette entries for FRAM and Purolator that both indicate there's no interchange. I could not find one for Wix yet.

It makes sense to me given there were maybe 1,000-2,000 corvette fuelies built each year, and the '57 Chevy 150s and '57/'58 Pontiac Bonnevilles didn't use the same air filter (and low numbers there too). So not a lot of market if they were only for corvettes. Does anyone around back then know if there was any other filter available than the AC Delco A77C?

The AC A77C, aka GM 1553911, air filter element was discontinued without supercession in December, 1971. I know of no past aftermarket equivalents ever available but, I suppose, it's possible.
