    Vacuum Pump Recommendation

Does anyone have a favorite vacuum pump for overall vacuum tuning? Looking at the MityVac 8500 kit for now.

    Thanks,

    Fred

    Fred,
That would work just fine but the standard MityVac (at half the price) is more than adequate for what you're going to be using it for...and, it comes in handy for many other uses.

      Fred,
I have that vacuum pump and it works perfectly, mine was sold under the OTC brand.
I bought mine at a garage mechanics auction for a fraction of the price of a new one. As Leif says it has many uses.
      Kind regards
