    Tracking Device Recommendation

Does anyone have any recommendations for a tracking device? After initial reviews, Tracki seems to be popular. Air Tags are ok but not really intended for vehicle tracking based on what I've read so far.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Fred

    Fred,

Don't have any experience with the new trackers, but these are things to consider to conceal a tracking device.
    • Battery life
    • Motion sensor activates sending alerts - this option should extend battery life & keep tracker from sending needless notices when parked in a garage
    • No WiFi - could be detected easier
    • No Bluetooth - could be a detected easier
GPS and cell service signal detectors can find tracking devices.

I have had this device in my car for close to 4 years now. Very reliable, relatively inexpensive, with the ability to set geofence(s), precise vehicle tracking, and alerts. Renewal services are $25 per year.

and for the same price you can by a GPS jammer that can disable the device

Since that GPS tracker has to plug into the OBD port it doesn’t seem relevant to C1, C2, C? Corvettes.

That is an option, the device can also be hardwired.

If someone has gone to that level, there is no defense. They also need to know you have such a device.....

Thanks Dennis. This product looks great. Economical and no monthly fee like many systems.

Claim of millions of cars recovered is questionable, however.

Can't speak to their claim, however, it's worth mentioning that the primary purpose for this devices was for reprossesing and surveillance work.
