I see you could order AO1 Tinted glass and AO2 Tinted windshield. Since my regular glass is all non-shaded, should I keep the windshield clear or were cars ordered with clear side glass and a tinted windshield?

Bob- Hoping others will chime in, as I don't have a definitive answer.
That said, the 1963 Corvette order form 'could' allow you to order just the tinted windshield...
But I'm not totally certain on the actual date this option first became available.
The initial ordering form OMITS any tinted glass... but I see it appearing on the Jan 1st form.

I don't have every form, and dealers may have received an earlier availability memo from Zone. -
If I had a choice I would order the non tinted glass but dated correctly. This way you would not take the point hit for the tint band if judging is in your realm of things.Comment

Hi Jack, Not sure of those dates but my car is a March 1 build. Based on the comment about the difference in tint, I Ordered a clear date coded glass since the other glass is not tinted.Comment
