66 Soft top trim spears measurement

Finishing up my soft top install on my '66. What is the correct measurement of the ends of the trim spears on #3 bow? I have nothing to go by as the covering was gone off the frame. Thanks!

Tim,
My original top measures 1 1/2 inch from end of the tips to the end of the bow.

If you are talking about the stainless steel spear shaped tip at each end of the welt binding on the bow above the rear window the measurement from the seam to the tip of the metal spear is 5-1/2”. The tip was attached to the bow with a single self taping screw so look for evidence of a hole in the bow.
