Good source for quart of semi-gloss black

    Guys,

I'm looking for a quart of semi-gloss black paint to finish the restoration of my wheel covers for my 69 and astounded that I’m having difficulty finding it. I can find it in aerosol but prefer to spray with my gun. Anyone know where I can find some?

Have you looked at SEM Trim Black #39144? It's a satin/semi black that is available in quarts. I've used it on all sorts of black refinishing on my '72 - like the shift console. If that's not glossy enough, they do make a Trim Gloss Black (#39068, pint) that you could cut with the satin/semi Trim Black.

Thanks Owen. I got some semi-gloss mixed up at my local pain store. I’ll give that a go and if it doesn’t work I’ll look into trying what you posted.
