Guys,
The key buzzer in my 69 stopped working today. It has worked since completing my restoration a few years ago at which time I had the column restored and rebuilt by Mike Denapole. It still works if I turn the key a certain amount but it has worked without issues since the restoration. I'm getting the car ready for judging at the TX regional in a few weeks. I've read on the forum about trying WD40 to fix a malfunctioning buzzer switch. How do I do that? Do I just spray it in the ignition key switch? I also have some CRC electronic connection cleaner. Is this safer/better to use than the WD40? Looking for a quick fix here, not sure I have the time to tear the column apart now prior to the meet. Thanks for any assistance you can give.
