A great friend and Corvette mentor to me for many years. He was a great man and Corvette expert. He helped me immensely over the years and I am proud to say the 1978 Silver Anniversary model Corvette I bought from him, after he had preserved and pampered it for 45 years, won the Bowtie Award at the recent NCRS National. RIP Bill, you will be greatly missed.

I purchased a fuel injection unit from Bill back in the '80's - he was incredibly knowledgeable and a super nice guy. Sorry to hear of his passing.

            Sad news.
Bill had the correct water pump and idler assembly when I needed it.
A resource for the hobby that will be missed.
            Regards,

Bill was, as others have said, an asset to so much of us. He taught me a lot about judging. A great man has passed.

Bill’s contribution to the hobby although often not realized was very significant. Rest In Peace my friend.

Sorry to learn of Bil's passing. He visited me many times as I had a connection for water pumps. He also bought a 67 Coupe from one of my neighbors. My 64 FI roadster was found by Bill on an Oklahoma City Car lot! Thanks for all the times we had at Bloomington and Joplin! The good old days! JR

I met Bill in 1981. In the early to mid 80s I used to travel to Kansas for business and I had to drive through Oklahoma to get where I was going. My first trip to Kansas I drove past a ranch in Oklahoma and saw about 25 Corvette sitting outside A ranch house and I said that Had to be Bill Mock's place. As it turned out it was. I stopped and visited and then when I
went about my business in Kansas. Few days later I returned back again. On the way back home, I stopped again only to find Jim Purvis was outside speaking with him. I stayed a couple hours and went home back to the East Coast. Bill and I Communicated a lot on buying and selling Corvettes and I even did a few pre-purchase inspections for him. Yes, the Corvette hobby has lost a A true Corvette guy. My prayers are with his family. 🙏

Another legend in the Corvette community has gone on to his other rewards. To say he was a legend doesn't quite convey what he was to so many of us that learned from him and caught the Corvette bug and to this day, we still think of Bill and his contributions. Just wonder what heaven is like with all those big block guys up there!! RIP in Bill.
