    1971 Air Cleaner Decal

When I had my car judged last month I was told the air cleaner decal was incorrect. The red CR should be black lettering. Does anyone know where you can get the correct decal. CC and Zip are both red lettering

    Thanks
    Sheldon

      The code on the label.

Have you looked at the example in the Judging Guide to check out the color?
The one I have here at the office (the one below is from CC) shows the CR in red, and my Bowtie 72 has it in red as well.

My judging guide is 4th edition so was going by the judges notes on my sheets. I think mine is correct then.

          Thanks

This pic is what I believe to be the original label on my Sept 17 build LS5. Looks red to me..........

Mr. Sands, Here's a close up shot of the type of print. Notice the "matte" finish on the diagonal. This would likely be a better way or an additional method to determine a correct label.
