    GM restoration package..,.

I remember having a phone number or such where an owner of an older (C1-C3) could contact GM and they graciously sent you a package on your year Vette.
Unfortunately I can’t find it any more dot anyone here remembers and has the contact I’d be grateful.

    Don

Don- Back in the 90s, I had this on my old website:
Chevrolet can mail to you a FREE Restoration Package with just a simple phone call to their Toll Free Customer Assistance Hotline. This package contains specific information on your particular year Corvette. There is NO difference in package contents between convertible or coupe.
Included in the package (which can be about 1/2" thick) is the following:
    1. A detailed Specification booklet that covers chassis, power train and general info
    2. Model year production numbers, dealer options and color info
    3. A Past Model Information booklet which is designed to assist past model owners in obtaining information, parts and accessories which are not longer stocked by Chevrolet.
    4. Information on how to obtain Shop Manuals and contact Corvette Clubs
For those of you who wish to take advantage of this offer, have the VIN # of your Corvette available as you call:
Toll Free in the USA: 1-800-222-1020, or 1-810-696-4800
    .

I'm doubting they have continued the practice, since they digitized the info (some poorly) and posted it online.
