    1965 body mount bolts

Hi everyone, I'm wondering what you think of this body mount bolt. Is it possible this is an original bolt? Or do you think this has been replaced? The head mark is a little tough to read. To my eyes is looks like a "PSC"

    Chris,

It looks like it could be an RSC headmark, which was a common headmark body mount bolt on my ‘66.

        Chris,

Here are some pictures of my 56k mile, original, unrestored '65 coupe built on July 14, 1965. This car has been in our family since 1974. I am currently doing deep cleaning in preparation of flight judging. Both the left and right side have identical RSC bolts.

        Hope this helps.

        James

            James,

Here's a blowup of one of your body mount bolts...
Can you tell us which mount locations your photos are ?
            Fronts near the firewall ?

              Mark,

The pictures I posted are of the left and right rear body mounts at the rear of the wheel well. The left picture on the left is the left side and the picture on the right is the right side.
